EPE 180 Overhaul, major repair.
On January 15, 2015 a brand new JYD200 PE Foam Sheet Extruder is shipped out of factory to Huizhou city. It is to replace an older buyer's JYD180 extruder. All the others, including hopper, platform, cooling station, haul station and turret winder will remain no changer.
Since now his JYD180 EPE Extrusion Line is brand new and with a bigger extruder. With this "same" machine, he can make thicker foam sheet at a lower density. The foam will also look much better. You see, his overhaul is nearly perfect and his total costs is very limited.
There is a basic knowledge. After a couple of years' hard working, especially using recycled LDPE resin with small metals and stones, both the screw and barrel will wear off. Both the capacity and foaming quality will degrade. IF you replace the worn off screw and barrel with a new set, you will get a "brand new" extrusin line again. With the same
materials and same costs, you will get better foam and lower foam density.
Our domestic buyers often doing such Overhaul or major repair. The cost is very low and total time is about 2 or 3 days only. OF course this Huizhou buyer enlarged the extruder to JYD200, we save only the heavy steel frame. We may recondition and sell it at a lower price with honest pre clarification. The old worn off screw and barrel, we usually send back to the old buyer for possible future use.
